JSTU Connect Beta Testing Terms

Version of October 27, 2026 · Applies to the JSTU Connect Beta on TestFlight for macOS, iOS, iPadOS and visionOS · Developer: JASON Studio

Who can take part

The Beta is for Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro, through Apple TestFlight. It does not include the Windows app. You apply with an email address and accept these terms first; we then invite testers by hand, starting with no more than 100 installations. Applying does not guarantee an invitation. You must be able to agree to these terms where you live and meet Apple’s requirements for using TestFlight.

Pre-release software

Beta builds are unfinished and are not production-ready. They may contain bugs, change without notice, stop working, or lose settings and trusted devices. Do not rely on them for important work. TestFlight builds expire on Apple’s schedule. To the extent the law allows, Beta builds are provided as they are, without warranties, and JASON Studio is not liable for loss arising from their use.

Diagnostics

Beta builds can include the diagnostics described in the Beta Privacy Notes. Installing a build is not agreement: nothing is collected until you choose Continue on the Beta Testing Privacy Notes screen, and Pause Beta Testing… stops collection at any time. The formal release will not require these diagnostics.

Reports are not entirely anonymous. They contain no names, addresses, input or content, but each carries a random installation identifier that links one day’s report to the next, together with the device model and system version, and Apple CloudKit adds a reference to the iCloud account that sent it. We do not use these to find out who you are.

Feedback

Send feedback through the TestFlight app or email support@jasonstu.cc. We may use your feedback to improve JSTU Connect, with no obligation to you. Do not include pairing codes, keys, invitation codes, network addresses or other people’s personal information.

Your email

We use the email you apply with only to invite you through App Store Connect, which passes it to Apple to send the TestFlight invitation, and to handle your requests. We do not use it for marketing. It is kept while you are a tester and deleted 30 days after you are removed from the tester group or your application is declined.

Leaving and ending the Beta

You can leave at any time by pausing Beta Testing and deleting the app. Reports already sent are deleted automatically within 30 days. If you would like them deleted sooner, or your email removed from the TestFlight tester group, you can send us a deletion request. A build that is already installed keeps working until you delete it or it expires. We may end the Beta, or remove a tester, at any time.

Apple’s terms

Your use of TestFlight is also governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Apple is not responsible for JSTU Connect or this Beta.

Changes to these terms

A new version is published here with a new date. Applications are always made under the current version. If a change affects what the app collects, the app shows its privacy notes again and collects nothing more until you choose Continue.
